Create a link to page or annotation

You can create a deep link (shortened URL) to a document, page, or annotation within AgileLaw by right-clicking on the document, page, or annotation and clicking "Create Deep Link".

Right-click on a page in the page preview panel

Right-click on a page in the page preview panel

Right-click on a page in the document viewer

Right-click on an annotation in the annotation panel or in the document viewer

The link will be copied to your clipboard so you can paste it immediately.

Clicking on a link outside of a browser

When you click on a link outside of AgileLaw, we will attempt to open the link in your current browser session / tab. However, if you have multiple windows or tabs open, your operating system may control where the link is opened.

The first time you click a deep link, you will see an instructional page:

Any subsequent time you click a link, you will see something like this:

If your browser prevents us from programmatically closing the tab for you, you may see a page like this:

In that case, you can close the tab and select the active tab that is logged in, which should show the document of the link that you clicked on.

If you are using multiple browser windows or tabs for AgileLaw, we won't know which tab to use, so initially you will see a page like this to choose which tab you want us to open the deep link in:

If you are not logged in to your AgileLaw when you click a link, you will be taken to the login page; after logging in, your session should automatically open to the correct document and page.
