Custom Exhibit Stamps

Written by Skyler Lambert

Each case can have its own exhibit sticker. To customize it, open the case and click the pencil (Edit case) icon next to the case name in the header.

Open the case and click the pencil icon next to the case name

In the Edit Case window, click Click to customize beneath the exhibit-sticker preview (lower right).

The window changes to Customize Exhibit Sticker. Here you can set the sticker's Color, Size, and Default Location (Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Top Left, Top Right, or No stamp), plus five text fields — Title, Header, Prefix, Starting #, and Footer. A live preview updates as you make changes.

The Customize Exhibit Sticker window

To insert a dynamic placeholder, hover over the Title, Header, or Footer field and choose from the menu that appears. Available placeholders include:

  • Title shortcuts: EXHIBIT, PLAINTIFF'S EXHIBIT, DEFENDANT'S EXHIBIT, STATE'S EXHIBIT

  • Case attributes: Case name, Case number

  • Deposition attributes: Deponent's name, Deponent's last name, Date scheduled, Date revealed

Placeholders are filled in automatically when the sticker is applied, so the same template works across every deposition in the case.

When the sticker looks the way you want, click Save Template to store it for the case. (If you're customizing the sticker while creating a brand-new case, the same button reads Done.)
