You can do a test run of your deposition before the real thing — to make sure everything works correctly — using the Mock Deposition feature.
From the deposition screen, click the Conduct Mock button in the control panel.
You'll be shown a warning message.
Read the warning carefully. The main takeaway is that nothing you do in a mock is saved: revealed documents, exhibit stamps, private annotations, witness annotations, and participants are all discarded when the mock ends. In addition, every document in a mock is watermarked to keep you from accidentally using it in trial — that watermark will not appear on documents in a real deposition.
Once you click Continue, you're in a mock deposition.
Conducting a mock works the same as a regular deposition. The only difference is that mock notices and watermarks are added — and, again, nothing is saved.
