Start a deposition

To start a deposition, open it from your case list or from the recent depositions in the left-hand navigation. On the deposition screen, click the green Start Deposition button in the top toolbar.

Starting the deposition assigns a PIN and makes the deposition available for participants to join. A new window opens with:

  • The documents you have linked to this deposition in the left navigation panel

  • The witness controls (the Hot Seat Controls menu) at the top-left of the header

  • The unique PIN in the center of the header

The active deposition window, with the PIN in the header and the participant list ready for admissions

Provide this PIN to your participants so they can join the deposition.
