Account administrators can invite other members of the firm to their AgileLaw account. On a paid plan you can add unlimited users — you're billed only for those who actively host depositions.
Open the account menu in the top-right corner and choose Account Settings, then go to Organization → Users and click Add New User.
Enter the person's email, first name, and last name, and pick a User type (Attorney, Paralegal, and so on). The user type is a starting template that pre-fills the settings below — you can adjust them.
Account access sets the base level — Regular user (a full firm member who can see the firm's plan and usage) or Restricted user (outside counsel, limited to the cases you assign and unable to see your plan or billing).
Capabilities turn specific abilities on or off:
Host (billable) — start, resume, or join depositions as co-counsel.
Manage Cases — create and delete cases and proceedings.
Account Admin — manage users, billing, and firm settings. At least one user must always be an Account Admin.
Briefs — use the AgileBriefs Word add-in (requires a Briefs license).
When you click Add User, AgileLaw generates a one-time access code for the new user — there's no temporary password. Copy it down; once you close the popup you can't retrieve that code again (you can always issue a fresh one later with Generate Access Code).
The new user receives an email with a link to sign in. They log in with (or create) their own AgileLaw login, enter the access code to link their login to your account, and accept the terms of service. Once linked, they can switch between accounts at any time from the account-name menu → Switch Accounts.
