Account administrators can control firm-wide defaults for how exhibits are shared and downloaded, along with other account settings. These settings apply to every case in your account (an individual case can override them — see Case settings).
How to configure
Open the account menu in the top-right corner and choose Account Settings, then go to Organization → Firm Settings. Settings are grouped into cards — including a Firm details card where you set your firm name. Change what you need and click Save changes. Users who are already signed in may need to refresh their page for changes to take effect.
What you can control
Exhibit & upload permissions
Share marked exhibits with participants — when this is off, the person who concludes a deposition cannot share the marked exhibits with the participants.
Download marked exhibits — let non-admin users download marked exhibits before and after a deposition.
Allow duplicate uploads — when on, re-uploading a file that already exists creates a copy instead of blocking the upload.
Deposition participant access
Choose which participant roles may download unofficial (un-stamped) PDF exhibits during a deposition, before it concludes: Court Reporter, Opposing Counsel, and Observer. This applies to participants who don't have an AgileLaw account; when a participant does have an account, a revealed document is added to their account automatically.
Security and notifications
If your plan includes two-factor authentication, you can require 2-factor authentication for everyone in the firm and set how many days a device is remembered. Firms on hosted plans can also set a Concluded deposition notification email address.
