Account administrators can add logins for other members of the firm. On a paid plan you can add unlimited users — you're billed only for those who actively host depositions.
Open the account menu in the top-right corner, choose Account Settings, then go to Organization → Users and click Add New User.
Enter the person's email, first name, and last name, and pick a User type (Attorney, Paralegal, and so on). The user type is a starting template that pre-fills the settings below — you can adjust them.
Account access sets the base level:
Regular user — a full member of the firm who can see the firm's plan and usage.
Restricted user — outside counsel: limited to the cases you assign, and can't see your plan or billing.
Capabilities are the specific things a user can do — turn each on or off:
Host (billable) — start, resume, or join depositions as co-counsel.
Manage Cases — create and delete cases and proceedings.
Account Admin — manage users, billing, and firm settings.
Briefs — use the AgileBriefs Word add-in (requires a Briefs license).
Under Case access you can give the user None, Read, or Write access to specific cases (a premium feature).
When you click Add User, AgileLaw generates a one-time access code for the new user — there's no password to set. The user gets an email to activate their account and signs in with that access code. You can view or reset it later with Generate Access Code.
