Upload documents

Written by Skyler Lambert

You can upload documents from either the case page or the deposition page. On either page, click NEW in the upper-left corner, then choose File Upload.

The NEW menu, with File Upload

NOTE: Documents uploaded on the deposition page are automatically linked to both that deposition and to the entire case, but not to other depositions. To use the same document exhibits in another deposition, you can assign them to a deposition.

Documents uploaded on the case page are only linked to the case, so to use them in a deposition, you will need to assign them to a deposition.

Drag files from your computer onto the Drop your files here to upload area, or click Browse to pick files with your computer's file browser. You can upload several files at once.

NOTE: Click the "Supported file types" link on the upload prompt for the full list of formats, or see Supported file formats. Files can be up to 1 GB; spreadsheets are viewable up to 25 MB. Zip files must be extracted to their original format before uploading.

Watch progress in the Upload History panel — each file shows its status and reads Complete when it's done.

As each file finishes uploading and converting, it's added to the document grid.
